Program the Sumovore with a Basic Stamp II add-on! This module lets you interface a BS2, OOPic-C or Basicx-24 to your Sumovore. Yank off the default "discrete brain", plunk this interface board on, add your own controller, and you're ready to load code!

All the I/O of the microcontroller is used to monitor the two opponent sensors, the 5 edge sensors (the fifth "middle" sensor is included with this kit), controlling the motors, and 5 indicator LEDs. If you wish to free up I/O for your own needs, it's an easy modification to turn an LED indicator into something else.

The "getting started" process is made even easier with a dual-mode programme, ready for you to load (BS2 code). Start your Sumovore on a black surface, and it thinks it's fighting in a sumo ring. Start it on a white surface, and it's ready to chase a black line drawn on the surface. It's a great starting point for your own programming!
