Javelin Stamp Module

£67.19 Ex VAT
£78.95 Inc VAT

The Javelin Stamp can provide intelligent control of electronic devices such as motors, lights, and sensors.

Some Javelin Stamp functions can be performed as a background task, leaving your main program available to manage higher-level operations.

All vital components (processor, clock source, memory, power regulator) are provided on the JS1's tiny PCB; just connect power and go! The Javelin Stamp module is a 24-pin DIP module programmed in a subset of the Sun Microsystems Java language.

Java is a trademark of Sun Microsystems, Inc. For customers that require a more powerful microcontroller, we highly recommend the Propeller chip.

Features:

  • Processor Speed: 25 MHz Turbo
  • Program Execution Speed: ~8,500 Java instructions/sec.
  • RAM Size: 32 K Bytes (Program and variables)
  • EEPROM Size: 32 K Bytes
  • Number of I/O Pins: 16
  • Current Draw @ 5 VDC: 80mA Run, No Sleep
  • Buffered serial communication in the background
  • Up to seven UART objects that can run independently of each other and main program
  • Pulse width modulation in the background
  • Compatible with any BASIC Stamp programming board with a 24-pin socket
  • Commercial-Rated since Rev. A
